Letters and notes recieved from participants:
Thank you for a wonderfully moving experience.
Once we got there, the atmosphere, camaraderie, compassion and emotion were
unbelievable.
The College boys who spent the night ensuring that the candles stayed lit
deserve a special mention. They quietly and efficiently went about there
business and were so unobtrusive they probably did not get noticed or
thanked by many. The entertainers who gave their time were pleasing (in the
main). I suppose the crowds of young folk in front of the stage at the odd
times when my 50plus ears were resting in the tent was testimony to that.
A couple of thoughts came to mind whilst I toured Goldstones in circles. And
we did have a lot of time to think and solve all the problems of the world.
We met folk we hadn't seen for years. We made new friends. We listened to
folks' histories, passions and dreams. Above all, we shared an emotional
night of peace with a common cause.
